Cedrick Mutombo Shakalenga was born on February 26, 1991, in Manono, a town located in the Democratic Republic of Congo. His academic journey began in Mukushi / Manono Primary School, where he obtained his Primary School Certificate in 2003. Cedrick then pursued secondary education at the Bunyinge / Manono Institute, earning a State Diploma in General Pedagogy in 2009. His passion for pharmaceutical sciences led him to enroll at the University of Lubumbashi, where he completed a Pharmacist Diploma with a specialization in Hospital & Community Pharmacy in 2016.

His early work experience includes teaching at Maendeleo/Lusa Primary School in Manono from 2009 to 2010 and serving as a Pharmacist at the Tamtam Pharmacy in Lubumbashi during 2014-2015.
