He furthered his expertise with an MPhil in Development Studies from Kathmandu University, where he was recognized for academic distinction. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Development Studies at Kathmandu University, adding a robust research foundation to his extensive academic repertoire.

Anil Kumar Gupta holds the position of Deputy Director of Studies at the Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC), where he contributes significantly to training and public administration.
