Science in 1988. His academic excellence continued as he pursued a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, which he completed in 1992. His doctoral research focused on the “Synthesis and Pharmacological Evaluation of Some 1:3:4 Thiadiazole Derivatives,” where he synthesized various thiadiazole derivatives and evaluated their pharmacological activities, including CNS depressant, anti-inflammatory, hypotensive, and diuretic effects.

Dr. Shakya’s professional career spans over three decades, marked by significant contributions to pharmaceutical education and research. He began his teaching career as an Assistant Professor at Dr. Harisingh Gour University in 1988.
