He began his academic journey at Tianjin Normal University, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree, and later pursued a combined master’s and doctoral program at Nankai University, successfully earning his doctorate. His professional career has been deeply rooted in the School of Pharmacy at Shanxi Medical University, where he advanced through the ranks from lecturer to associate professor and later professor, reflecting his dedication and contributions to the field. He also enriched his academic perspective through international exposure as a visiting scholar at McGill University in Canada and at the Beijing Institute of Technology, experiences that expanded his research horizons and fostered collaborative ties with leading researchers worldwide.Prof. Ban has been actively involved in academic leadership and professional service.
