He furthered his expertise with an MPhil in Development Studies from Kathmandu University, where he was recognized for academic distinction. Anil Kumar Gupta holds the position of Deputy Director of Studies at the Nepal Administrative Staff College (NASC), where he contributes significantly to training and public administration.
