He earned his Master of Laboratory Medicine from the School of Medical Sciences in July 2010 and subsequently completed a Graduate Diploma in Biotechnology from the School of Applied Sciences in December 2010. Khaled furthered his expertise by attaining a PhD in Microbiology from RMIT University in August 2016, with his thesis titled “Colonisation and Virulence Characteristics of Campylobacter concisus Oral and Clinical Strains.”
