Dr. Antonio Ranchal Sánchez is a Professor Contratado Doctor with permanent affiliation at the University of Córdoba (UCO), Faculty of Medicine and Nursing, Department of Nursing, Pharmacology, and Physiotherapy. He holds a PhD in Medicine and Surgery and is a specialist in Occupational Medicine as well as Sports and Exercise Medicine. With extensive experience in academic teaching, clinical practice, and health administration, he has served in senior roles within the Andalusian Health Service and as a tutor for healthcare specialists. His academic activity spans undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in nursing, physiotherapy, public health, occupational risk prevention, and sports-related health sciences. As a member of the GIEAP research group at IMIBIC, his research focuses on occupational health, epidemiology, physical activity, burnout, smoking prevention, and clinical and public health interventions, contributing significantly to peer-reviewed international literature and scientific congresses.
