Most recently, he served as a technical advisor for the German Development Cooperation (GIZ-Ghana), where he played a pivotal role in driving forward climate and sustainable development initiatives. Currently, he works as a regional advisor at WhereGeospatial, furthering his impact in the geospatial technology and environmental sectors.

Previously, Abdul-Wahab was the Director of the Alliance for Green and Climate Innovations, where he led numerous projects aimed at promoting green technologies and climate resilience. His consultancy services in the budding circular economy, climate change, agriculture, and sustainable development have benefited numerous organizations within and outside Ghana, showcasing his ability to drive impactful change on a global scale.

Abdul-Wahab’s research interests are diverse, encompassing circular economy, climate change, agriculture and food security, plastic waste management, environmental protection, energy regulation, sustainability, renewable energy, waste-to-energy technologies, and nature-based solutions. He is passionate about ensuring the empowerment of project beneficiaries through the use of highly reliable tools such as Capacity Work, SCAP, CLAC, and REFLECT. His dedication to integrating innovative solutions in project management has significantly contributed to the advancement of sustainable development practices.

Abdul-Wahab’s excellence in his field has earned him numerous accolades. He was recognized as the best oral presenter at the 5th Earth and Environmental Congress in Chicago, USA. His expertise and contributions have also been acknowledged by prestigious organizations, making him a fellow of the Open Africa Power-Enel Foundation, Frontiers of Climate Change-Ghana, and the American Geoscience Society Union (AGU).

Abdul-Wahab has assumed roles of responsibility within several organizations, including the Alliance for Green and Climate Innovations, World Vision (Rural Groundwater Project-Savelugu), Allied Relief, Rupaid, JICA, Watersites, Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Limited (BOST), Christian Relief Service, and the Department of Rent Control (Ministry of Works, Water, and Housing). His work has not only advanced the missions of these organizations but also positively impacted the communities they serve.

He has presented at conferences and delivered keynote speeches at events such as AICEESS in Nigeria, EU Tech Chambers in Born, ICERA, GYC & IRAD in Ghana, IJIRD in Australia, EESC in the USA, ICSI in Nigeria, and RNSA in Sudan.
