Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shuiming Xiao is a distinguished researcher in the field of traditional Chinese medicine, recognized for his integrative and forward-looking approach to herbal drug quality evaluation and gut microbiota research. He completed his doctoral training at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and currently serves as an associate researcher at the Institute of Chinese Materia Medica, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. His scientific work focuses on elucidating the complex interactions between gut microbiota and traditional Chinese medicine, alongside the development of robust quality control systems for herbal drugs. Through a strong combination of experimental research, genomics, and translational methodologies, Dr. Xiao has established himself as a leading figure in modernizing traditional medicine through scientific rigor.Dr. Xiao has authored and co-authored an extensive body of scholarly work, including numerous high-impact articles indexed in major scientific databases, as well as several authoritative monographs published by international and national academic publishers.
