Atefeh Nasir Kansestani was born on May 26, 1990, in Kermanshah, Iran. Her journey in the medical sciences began at the Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences, where she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science (2009-2013). During her undergraduate studies, she excelled academically, achieving top ranks among her peers. She completed her Master’s in Medical Immunology (2013-2016), also at Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences, with a stellar GPA of 3.94 out of 4. Her thesis, supervised by Prof. Ali Mostafaie, investigated the expression of SIRT, NF-κB, and P53 in breast adenocarcinoma cell lines under different glucose conditions, laying the groundwork for her future interest in tumor biology and diagnostics.
