With over 30 years of research and industrial experience, Professor Hosseini’s primary expertise lies in conducting polymers, including their synthesis and applications. His research interests encompass a wide range of fields:
- Conducting polymers
- Liquid and gas sensors for drugs, explosives, and toxic substances
- Polymer nanocomposites with magnetic and electrical materials
- Conductive liquid crystalline polymers
- Electromagnetic absorbing materials
- Modified resins and coatings (polyester, epoxy, urethane, acrylic, phenolic, etc.)
- Oil and gas projects, including polymer bitumen, cold cracking on extra heavy oil desulphurization, DRA, and lubricants
- Development of new antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal wound dressings
- Creation of new scaffolds for improved skin and bone regeneration
- Mineral industries, focusing on graphite, graphene, garnet, mica, manganese, and more
- Medical, industrial, and military applications of his research
📄 Publications and Projects
Professor Hosseini has an impressive publication record with over 450 international publications in ISI Journals and 500 publications in national and international conferences. He has authored eight books covering topics in education, industry, and military applications. He has also led approximately 20 projects, including eight military and 12 industrial projects, and guided nearly 200 master’s and doctoral theses.
